William W. Hargrove Bill Hargrove received an M.S. in Entomology from University of Georgia in 1983, and a Ph.D. in Ecology from University of Georgia in 1988. Bill moved to Oak Ridge National Laboratory in 1990 as a postdoc, and became a subcontract employee in 1993. He joined the ORNL staff in 2000 as a part of the Geographic Information and Spatial Technologies Group, and moved to his present position within the ORNL Environmental Sciences Division in 2001. His research interests include landscape ecology, computational science, GIS, statistics, spatially-explicit simulation modeling, remote sensing, and large-scale ecology.
